FAQ
Do you take a cut of what you recover?
Never. Recoup is a flat monthly fee. Every dollar we win back is 100% yours — unlike the %-of-recovered tools that bill you more the more they recover.
What counts as a “recovery campaign”?
One failed payment we try to recover — a declined subscription charge or an overdue invoice. Your plan’s monthly limit is how many new ones can open per month.
What happens if I exceed my plan’s campaign limit?
We’ll let you know before you hit it and prompt an upgrade. We never silently stop recovering — you won’t lose revenue to a plan limit.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes — up to 10 recovery campaigns a month, forever, with the full smart-retry + dunning engine. Connect Square and see what you can recover before you pay anything.
Do my customers pay anything?
No. Recoup charges you a flat fee; your customers just get a clean, branded page to update their card.
How is this different from Square’s own reminders?
Square sends passive invoice reminders and never re-charges a failed card — a failed invoice is just marked unpaid and abandoned. Recoup actually retries the payment on a smart, decline-aware schedule and duns from your own domain.
